The University-Model School (UMS)…so much more than a school!

The University Model School (UMS)  involves education from 1st through 12th grade. Elementary professional instruction at school is provided two days a week (M,W); with home study provided by a parent’s oversight the other two days of the week.

Middle and High School students’ participate in a three day a week program (M,W,F) under the direction of experienced teaching professionals with home study provided by a parent’s oversight the other two days of the week.

The model provides students with a head start for college where they actually practice an authentic, university-style schedule, including:

  • Structured classroom instruction
  • Extra-curricular activities and/or part-time jobs
  • Responsibility for accomplishing out-of-class assignments during discretionary hours

UMS blends the best of home with traditional education. Parents are the key. Character is the goal. Education is the means. This is the University-Model School®!
