AccreditationHeritage Academy is an accredited by AdvancEd Accreditation Standards. This accreditation is recognized by the Georgia Board of Regents and accepted for admission on the same basis as graduates from public schools. According to Rule 160-5-1-.15 of the Department of Education in relation to transfer of credits, no additional testing or any type of requirements over and above those for students from public schools will be made for students who are accredited by AdvancEd Accreditation Standards. The Hope Scholarship Program of the Georgia Student Finance Authority recognizes graduates of all schools fully or provisionally accredited under Advanced Standards to be eligible for Hope Scholarships on the same basis as graduates of Georgia public schools. The AdvancED Accreditation Standards consider all aspects of how institutions deliver quality education, which include teaching and learning, vision and strategies, governance, data use, resources, and self- improvement. Accreditation approval is a comprehensive examination of the entire educational system as a whole.
